It looks a lot like a black hole.

Looks like gravitational lensing around a black hole.

It's some sort of odd galaxy, it looks like a merger. In the SDSS image there you can see what looks like tidal tails.

If you do a catalog search you can see the object is called CGCG 415-054, it is catalogued as a peculiar galaxy. I'll see if I can dig out more info.

If you look in deeper DECaLS data you can see the tidal tail is very real. It looks to me like the two bright knots are the cores of two galaxies which are in the middle of merging.

Thank you very much. I am new to sky atlas's and I am very eager. Is there a good place to ask questions and post screen shots?

I'm not really sure to be honest. I'm an astronomy postgrad so I do this as a job. There is a forum for Galaxy Zoo where people post a lot of stuff like this, but I think both versions are pretty dead. Reddit has askastronomy and there is also cosmoquest forum. I'm not sure how active these places are but they certainly used to have quite a few astronomers on periodically.

Hey, my first bet from OP's pic was a elliptical/irregular galaxy
Feels good
