Is literally the dumbest thing I've read in my life (okay except the flat earth threads). They either aren't there or are just to far away to find. Based on all available evidence, you should pick the later, they aren't there.

They're at this star, just like I said the last time you made this thread. So far, if I'm reading the website of an 80 year old astronomer correctly, the best explanation for what's happening is a Big Ass Thing Close As Fuck (BATCAF) to the star, surrounded by a bizarre arrangement of smaller objects. However, a BATCAF should be showing tons of heat, and we can't detect anything. Dust, incredibly precise planetary arrangements, and many many other explanations have all failed. Also the largest dimming on record for this star would have required an object larger than the star itself.
Whatever is doing this appears to be fucking around with a star for laughs. Or to see who notices.

that is the most criminally retarded thing I have ever fucking read
I hope the person that wrote it was hit by a bus for being dumber than the lowest animals
The very fucking second you send off a coherent radio broadcast, the cat is out of the bag, period.
if aliens are to detect us, they will detect us, and there isn't a thing we can do to stop it
the logical thing to do is to expand your capabilities so that when this threat comes, if it comes, you are more capable to defend against it

The only legit way to communicate with unknown alien civilizations is to turn your sun into a giant lighthouse/beacon. You do this by dimming or turning it on/off to the side of the observer by blocking the light. A star is really the only thing powerful enough to send out a recognizable signal that remains recognizable no matter how far away you are from it (if you can see the star in the first place that is).
