Psychometrics and testing is the only authentic science within psychology. You can get examined and shell out for it.
Standardized tests are g-loaded and de facto IQ tests if you want a rougher more imperfect proxy.

I don't need to do a test to know that I'm not smart.

I am afraid to do any IQ tests. I did one and I got a 125, which is good enough for me. I don't think my IQ is actually that but I don't want to take another one that tells me I am a standard deviation bellow that. It will hurt my pride and make me lose some sense of of superiority.

Yeah this test isn't accurate whatsoever.

I study biomedical sciences and I feel painfully average. Only pseudo-"intellectual" thing that happened to me was that I skipped the year where you learn to write,read and math for the first time (not an attempt at a pathetic brag, using general terms because grades differ in EU/USA//UK etc.).
However I'm pretty sure that this is mainly due to me being lucky. Pretty sure most college students would've been able to do the same if given the chance back then.

I got 112 on that one and 117 on the mensa one.

I feel like pattern recognition is a good heuristic of intelligence, but not end all be all. It also feels like if you practiced these and took them seriously you could greatly boost your score. I don't know if that's considered "cheating" or not.

I personally never did good on timed tests. When I was in university I would frequently finish last on tests, but still get good marks (I didn't finish fast and then check my work for the remainder of the time, I was just slow and cautious).

So is 130 good enough for medicine?

I took the mensa test again but set a time restriction on myself. I got practically the same score but had 20+ extra minutes left.

I guess it's because the questions were the same but that doesnt seem "right" to me.

I have no idea why you complain for getting 117+. That's considerably above average. Your average college graduate is 115 IQ. Definitely no Einstein but smarter than everyone in Africa...
