What the fuck
probabilistic models are much more interesting than deterministic ones.

Well, what did you expect? You jumped off the math train and hopped into the math cart, going at 3 kilometers per month.
Don't worry, everyone eventually has to do this. Just get yourself some topology text books and at night pretend that you are still undergrad.
You sell out

It's not an accident that statistics has the highest proportion of women among all math specialisations you know. It's piss easy.

how is analysis not just memorizing a bunch of theorems and applying them to problems
>muh intuition, muh derivation, muh proof
if your masters course never delved into probability theory or the mathematics behind statistical modelling, of course you're not going to get any of the intuition, derivation or proof behind statistics. It's like taking calculus for engineers and complaining that you don't know why you have to use the product rule, or why you use a Jacobian to change the domain of integration.

You are a worthless stat piggot now. Leave this board. There is no /stat/
