When did you realize you were too retarded to become a physicist?
when I almost failed a class using this book
i was thinking about going into mathematical physics but after that class I stuck with math
quantum mechanics in high school. seemed more about memorization than understanding.

Grad school
>tfw I failed 2/3 of my exams
There was a story I read about some billionaire (it might have been Bezos, I don't remember) and he'd gone to the west coast to start his Ph.D. After being there just a few days he realised that he would never be as good as his colleagues, and further that he would never be as good as the rest of the people in other Ivies all around the country. So he dropped out. I never understood that mindset, I always thought that you'd be able to carve out some small nook somewhere, and then it happened to me, and I understood exactly.

>I always thought that you'd be able to carve out some small nook somewhere,
Why can't you do this?

Because everyone else is much smarter than you, you'll be squeezed out of any nook to try and make.
