I suppose I understand where you're coming from with that but withholding the female detriment(if any) wouldn't affect if there is infact detriment for men or to what extent. For example with so called porn induced erectile dysfunction, withholding presentation that porn can cause sexual dysfunction for women, true or not, wouldn't affect if PIED is a true phenomenon. Personally I don't believe that the PIED theory holds simply because I don't believe masturbation to porn would spike your dopamine enough to desensitize you(as compared to drugs and addictions). I don't think I've seen any concrete evidence to believe that this is the case

my problem with nofap is how aggressive it is, and towards males specifically.
all conservative beliefs in general are tightly enforced over men and this is the problem i have with these sort of philosophies. i believe that this is why we have such a overwhelming number of liberal woman in comparison to conservative men. you cannot keep pushing traditionalist/conservative values without filling this gap

Now disinterest I can understand from porn if its excessive, was just wondering if the actual tangible physical effects(downregulation of dopamine receptors) was actually observable for "behavioral" addictions.
And I agree, NoFap is cult-like in how aggressive they are towards male sexuality and, in my opinion, severely repressing it.
