Half of it is distributed amongst the body and tail end of the car whereas the other half is concentrated near the front due to the engine.
It is in the middle of the y-axis; however, the center of mass should actually be closer to the front door and mirrors

Tried that with a buddies car once. Thankfully, I wore gloves because it literally tore the front bumper & grill off and broke the hood release mechanism. Side note, pick them up using the wheel instead. Lifting from the side is so much easier.
