this
probably Seattle or Boston for different reasons
Seattle apparently gets most well read city constantly and obviously has all of the white collar industry related to computers
Boston because 2 internationally top schools are right next to each other and they have a big biotech thing going on there too
I'd probably choose Seattle because having top schools in your area doesn't mean anything since the graduates either stay cooped up in the university for grad school or they move away to a job somewhere else in the world. Everywhere else in the USA doesn't strike me as particularly intelligent. NYC has a huge financial thing and SF has software development but they definitely seem dumber and shittier anyway. Portland seems like a Seattle with less white collar jobs, same for Austin.
tfw none of these places have google fiber yet
At the end if the day, the most /sci/ city is probably not in the USA, but somewhere in Europe.

None of them.
If you can afford it, move out to the middle of nowhere. Then you'll have all day to think without being surrounded by millions of retards.
