Does going to an ivy league school actually matter and is it different than state school. Biochemidtry and maybe business is what i will study.

There is a difference between them but it depends on your occupation. If you are going into something like business they want to see the pedigree so even if you go to a shitty Ivy like brown it looks better than uc irvine or whatever the fuck. If you want to be a respectable scientist then it varies significantly; one of my graduate TA's for physics when I was an undergrad at MIT came from an incredibly small liberal arts school in new york.
