here's what it actually looks like...

It was designed that way

That's a cube of universe, not the whole structure.

Its comprised of spectrums

because if it didn't then it wouldn't

whoa

Because it's a brain.

The current understanding of the large scale structure is a combination of inflation and quantum fluctuations...

a small quantum fluctuation (a particle antiparticle pair) can be "put on mass shell", i.e. become real particles if the space between them expands faster than it takes for the particles to annihilate. This means you need a hubble parameter (H) such that H > 2m, where m is the mass of the particles created. This is well satisfied during inflation.

Now, the density, distribution, etc... all depend on the model of inflation. This was why people made a big deal about the bicep result. It essentially proved the existence of inflation as well as quantum gravity... but was ultimately proved wrong...

Going back... as the quantum fluctuations are brought on mass shell by the expansion, they seed density perturbations which, after inflation, causes other matter to coalesce around it. This, leads to the filament structure you see in the large scale structure of the universe...

you are literally looking at quantum fluctuations that have been blown up (magnified) by inflation and subsequently seeded gravitational collapse of nearby matter...

entropy. everything's entropy.

It is a fancy way of saying that a particle becomes real...

quantum fluctuations, virtual particles, etc... occur all the time but they disappear. If through some mechanisms, e.g. inflation, these particles become real, and not annihilate, we say they are put on mass shell...

why mass shell... the relativistic equation for energy is E^2 = P^2 + M^2... this is the same equation as for a sphere; R^2 =X^2 + Y^2...

To say that something is on mass shell is to say that it obeys the E^2 = P^2 + M^2 relationship; virtual particles dont obey this. Since this is the equation for a sphere, and the relationship implies that any valid energy of a real particle will lie on the surface (i.e. shell) of the sphere. Hence on mass shell...

It just means that it obeys E^2 = P^2 + M^2, which is the condition for a real particle...

Hope this helps...

doesn't that mean there would be equal parts matter and anti-matter?

you are one hundred percent correct... the particles created by the expansion are matter-antimatter pairs... these seed the density perturbations... Inflation also has another way to create particles (decay of the inflaton field or some such thing, i am not familiar with this mechanism though)... Even there, they should be made in particle-antiparticle pairs...

The fact that the universe is made predominantly of matter is actually one of the biggest open problems in physics... It is believed that the solution is due to some sort of cp violating process in the early universe...

So yes, not only are you correct but you are touching on one of the biggest unanswered problems in physics...
