2000 "courses". If you take calculus 1 and split it up in 10 course I can understand why. Also the quality of the courses matter, which is why I specified that there are more top tier universities on edX.

But anyway, I'm not saying coursera is bad. I'm sure there are some courses there that are not present on edX. Also if you want some standford material, even though there isn't much, you pretty much have to use coursera. I don't ultimately care where the courses are found online, as long as they are found. All courses should be online. Universities should just be for exams, labs that can't be simulated in a virtual environment, and research.
