You only need to modify one thing so that it works
put diodes between the magnets so the pulling will be unidirectional.

If this was an actual science puzzle I would think about it but chances are that you have some bullshit in mind with this thread.
The car
>>8844504
Alright. I'm an English major. Hold my hand through this problem, assuming that the magnetic force is powerful enough to pull a car.
I thought this wouldn't work because the magnets would stick together and you wouldn't move anywhere. Then I thought that as long as the tensile strength of the bar holding the magnet was stronger than the tension created by the magnets attracting each other, then maybe it could work.
Prove me wrong.
>Hardmode: no regurgitation of Newton's 3rd Law. Gravity is BTFO by electromagnetism.

A bigger magnet in front.
>>8844688
If the bar was tensile enough to hold the magnets, then the magnet in the front would be pulled to the other magnet, and so they would cancel out any motion.
This would only work if the front magnet wasn't attached to the car.
>>8844504
Let's pretend we're in HS again and assume the car is free to move without friction.
If the magnet on the front of the car wasn't attached, it would be attracted to and strike the front magnet adding a ridiculously small amount of momentum to the car - thereby setting it in motion.

the car is actually driving in front of a whiteboard with two magnets.

I'd start with using wheels that are not cut off and flat along the bottom. after that I'd assume the need of one more modification.
