Doing a surgery presentation for my fellow med students and I can choose a topic on anything interesting regarding surgery. Does /sci/ have any suggestions? A colleague is doing a presentation on surgery operation on burn victims. I'm thinking of doing wound healing post operation.

How about talking about dehydrated human chorion-amnion for wound grafting and augmentation of wound healing. You can segue that into a broader talk about regenerative medicine. Look up dHACM.
