>>8816605
Define plane and the desired capabilities.
>>8816620
to be same as the commercial planes we have now to transport ~400 people or whatever 747 can transport
>>8816620
100-200 people plus luggage. Range at least 1000 miles.
Also, would a battery powered plane still be as loud as a conventional one?

If you don't want to go particularly fast, maybe.
A jet turbine needs a combustible fuel source though. So I hope you don't mind flying 2-3 times as long.
a gallon of automotive gasoline is 33.4 Kilowatt hours.
A nissan leaf has a 26 kilowatt hour battery pack and it only uses about 80% to go 80 miles. A tesla model S 100D goes 330 miles on 100 kilowatt hours.
a gallon of gasoline weights 6.1 pounds.
a nissan leaf's battery pack weights 660 pounds.

No.
But we might able to use biofuels or Hydrogen.
>>8817218

>>8817305
No, something like graphene batteries
>>8817315
*glass batteries

Let's stick to meme technologies that are still possible
For personal private VTOL craft? Possibly in 10 years

just use electricity to make hydrocarbons to load up the plane with and use to fly around reeee
