How can a sun be made of ice? Wouldn't it melt?
Well say that they are eaqual in mass.
Ice sun is 0c +- 5c
Lava sun is 5000c +- 5c
And temp is 2500c +- 10c
The result would be lots of steam, and a slightly cooler lava sun.

It's only blue because of contents. Ice is perfectly clear just like water.

>contents
Please reread your sentence. You dont make any sense. The contents are ICE. That's why it's blue.

The reason water is blue and ice is blue is because red is of a larger wavelength than blue and finds it easier to penetrate the water, whereas blue is a higher energy and gets dispersed.
Same reason the sky is blue in the afternoon, and red at sunsets.

It's just as relevant to ask "how can a sun be made of lava?"
A "sun" of lava would just be a huge planet.

ice is white, youre seeing blue because of reflections bouncing off each other
Technically a star can be made of water (liquid ice), there's nothing stopping that from happening. As long as you collect enough mass in form of water it will collapse into a star. Similarly, you can have a star made of lava.
So really all that would happen is what would normally happen if two stars collided. One would eat the other and become more massive, the temperature would also change as would the brightness, etc.

ice is blue. You can't even show a picture of white ice, while there are pictures of blue ice everywhere.
Who do you think I'll believe?
