While there might be fewer black scientists as white/asian, they do exist. And every scientist can bring something to the edifice.

Some races never did anything relevant in the sciences, and so far science has done just fine without much diversity. A bunch of mostly white, some jewish and asian guys will do just fine, and if the odd minority makes it in as well that's that.
