Vague answers lie in the nature of the question, but I think there's value to be found in those too.
As for my statement, empathy is an aspect of intelligence, guessing other peoples thoughts is key to building social constructs. What's interesting to me is that this "simulation of anothers mind" can be layered - in games like chess the player who can do more numerous accurate iterations is always a step ahead and unlikely to lose.
Now, you're welcome to say that first statement was vague, but if you still think it's trivial ot mundane, you're either so far above the average /sci/ poster that I have trouble believing you can find anything mentally stimulating at all here - or you are to dumb to understand the implications.
