Is there an antiparticle for every particle?

Yes.

If anti means only electric charge, then neutral particles like photons, neutrinos and gluons don't
>>8721411
>If anti means only electric charge
It doesn't.
>>8721411
photons don't have antiparticles, but there are different types of neutrinos that correspond with different energy and charge. So there is an electron neutrino and an antielectron neutrino. There is also a tau and antitau neutrino for the high energy electrons.
Also, OP you don't need a whole new thread to verify what someone said in another thread, this is the reason google exists.

Yes. Some particles are their own anti-particles though, e.g. photons. For some particles it is not known with certainty, i.e. neutrinos.

But photons are their own antiparticle. They just can't couple directly to themselves.
What if we are the anti particles

BB is a fucking idiot, every particle must have its own antiparticle for most of quantum field theory to make any sense. An antiparticle has all its quantum numbers negated, if all its quantum numbers are 0, then since -0 = 0 you get the same thing, thus photon is its own antiparticle.
(actualy its slightly more complicated since you need to handle marijuana spinors and everything, but for photons the above is enough.)

wat the fuck are you even saying
>>8721497
>marijuana spinors
Senpai.

Really? Because https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antiparticle
says nothing about anything else than EM charge
>>8721518
>says nothing about anything else than EM charge
>opposite charge (including electric charge)
Are you just incapable of reading the word 'including'?
click on the little blue 'charge' and you get
>color charge of quarks
>weak isospin
>electric charge
whcich is actualy incomplete, the folowing gets reversed:
>Each of the six quark flavor quantum numbers (upness, downness, strangeness, charmness, bottomness, topness)
>Isospin, which is like a combination of upness and downness
>Baryon number, which is like a combination of all six quark flavor numbers
>Each of the three lepton flavor quantum numbers (electron number, muon number, tau number)
>Lepton number, which is like a combination of all three lepton flavors
>Weak isospin
>Electric charge
>Hypercharge, which is like a combination of weak isospin and electric charge

In particle theory we use the words "charge" and "current" in a slightly more general sense (cf https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noether%27s_theorem).
