having trouble grasping a baby concept. i have
1/25 ^-2. how do i work out what to do with negative exponents when its a fraction?
>>8715648
(a/b)^-n = (b/a)^n
[math] \frac{1}{ \frac{1}{25}} [/math]
>>8715669
missed that it's ^-2 not ^-1 but fuck it, same shit
>>8715665
so i pretty much just inverse it to get the positive exponent? im asking because im trying to sort out log of 3 1/25=-2log of 3 5 using the log power rule.
>>8715675
so its pretty much just saying that in order to get that log of 3 1/25 youd have to have 5^-2 in order to get that 1/25 right?
