When you have children with a first cousin the chances of breeding a retard are low, you kids would be healthy and show no problems.

BUT if the parents of them both were first cousins too, then the chances are of almost 40% (as a minimum) and that's really high. It's almost as having a child with a nuclear family member.

There's a math behind this, is called coefficient of inbreeding, is usually, assuming no prior inbreeding, F is half of coefficient of relatedness(R).

So: 1 cousin are 1/8 related (or R = 12.5%) so F is 1/16 or 6,5%.

But what F means? Is chance of given loci is homozygote from common ancestor (i.e inbred), so 6,5% of dna from a baby born from cousin couple is homozigote. Taken even futher, a baby born from incest is 1/4 of his DNA is homozygote.

So, if you're bright and and your sister is bright - but have 130 IQs - start fucking each other NOW! and breed fucking smart babys, like the Targaryens.
