Do we agree that someone who can't learn a subject without someone else's help is a brainlet ?
Assisting to a lecture does not count ofc, we're talking 1 on 1 tutoring sessions

>Do we agree that someone who can't learn a subject without someone else's help is a brainlet ?
so everyone who pays for school is a brainlet?
>>
If you cannot read a text book, understand the concepts, and do the exercises, you are a brainlet.
>>
>>8680233
I said lectures don't count
>>
>>8680242
what's the difference? in both cases someone is teaching you things
>>
>>8680233
Yes
t. free undergrad and postgrad
>>
>>8680223
what is a brainlet ?
>>
>>8680223
That used to be the primary source of education for the wealthy upperclass before the advent of public schooling.

It's what the people on /sci/ who are insecure about their own intelligence call others who they think are stupid.
>>
>>8680223
OP you're a huge faggot. Don't try to hide it, we know you're as dumb as sand.
>>
>>8680493
>t. Brainlet who has to take tutoring session to at least get a C
>>
>>8680500
hahaha! No I don't take tutoring sessions and I do very well for myself, but you on the other hand remain a fag.
>>
>>8680223

I'd say that being obsessed about comparing your own intelligence to that of others and then trying to make yourself feel superior is a better indicator of being a brainlet.
>>
>>8680223
If they pay because they don't understand but are interested in what they do then: yes, clearly, and best of all: both sides profit.

>>8680233
Not at all. Coming from a country where thre aren't (direct) fees but it is paid via taxes, the university system is CROWDED as fuck, and most importantly, after graduating, doing research is basically less likely than winning the lottery.
