enlighten me on weather control. what is HARP and how does it work? what are the long term repercussions of this kind of technology?
Weather control is usually done through cloud seeding.
HAARP is a giant radio used for studying how radio waves behave, and isn't related to weather control.

yeah leave these hard skinned fags, come to /x/. we have some unclassified CIA docs.
The layer of the atmosphere targeted by the HAARP array also happens to be an influential layer for weather phenomena. By altering the distribution of energy in the atmosphere, the HAARP array can directly create regions of increased temperature, with effects on the movement of air fronts and the formation of clouds.

>HAARP
>not realizing this is a plot by the 65+ demographic to control the weather and steal our money for social security and early bird dinners

HAARP is not about weather, it is about climate, your mental climate. Heated plasma is a nonlinear medium that allows you to synthesize psychoactive frequencies which propagate in the cavity between ionosphere and surface like the Schumann resonance. You can depress people in NYC and enrage people in LA for example, or vice versa.

Both HAARP and cloudseeding weather control are activley used by world governments. It's not a conspiracy, it's science. I want to know about the consequences.

HAARP influences the flow of /x/tards and redirects them to /sci/.
>>8658376
but what abeet cloudseeding?
>>8658386
You mean shitseeding? One /x/tard shitpost can shitseed the entire thread, allowing for many /x/tards to post the same or similar shitty posts. This creates a cloud of shit driving away rational posts, protecting the shit-cloud from facts and logic.

they use iodine or something to force the clouds to rain so that it wont rain in the next 24 hours. I work weddings and this is a very real thing. What are the effects of tricking the climate like that? It does make it sunny and bright for 24 hours but then it seems as if the next couple days of weather are completely unpredictable.
>>8658525
correction silver iodide and potassium iodide not iodine obviously
>>8658525
fug. is this bad for whales?
im sure you will find a better explantion on wikipedia than on /sci/, but it doesn't really matter because AFRL already abandoned the project and turned it over the U of Alaska which probably does not have the funding to really do much with the facilities
>>8658973
The UA has shitloads of money to use stuff like this. The only reason they're nearly broke is because they spend too much money on stuff like this, rocketry, and other sciences.
