i am a Erdos. i haev a suitcase and i pick theorems out of the water w/ my brain. if you dont collaborate w/ me until 10 o'clock the following morning, and finish the paper before I fly away to another mathematician's house, I will make a mess of your pots and pans and bang on them
*Sigh*. Imagine how much more they could have achieved were they not in a constant state of burnout. Plus working under supervision for a goal oriented top level manager and access to human resources.
Instead they worked in isolation, in deranged burnout just to fuel their own ego and treat their personality disorders themselves. Think about all the knowledge we were deprived of because their labor force wasn't utilized economically.
