They might be hoax or not, but some of them are really beautiful and complex.
Is there a purpose behind them?
They look beautiful.
That is the purpose.
Definitely not a hoax. Search for Alex Jones' take on crop circles, numerous videos. www.infowars.com or you can find it on YT.
ayys are sending a message, but we're too self-involved to believe in them

that one is the rodin coil
>>8640824
>rodin coil
Oh shit that is neat!
most are the product of ayyliens
Thanks, guys.
>>8640824
That is really cool and is in fact a part of what I am asking.
Is there more of them, that we know what they are and represent?
>>8640762
Fractals of light between individual crop forms an area to said fractal?
>>8640762
I wonder how geometrically accurate these are.
pretty impressive desu
Indeed pretty, and indeed impressive.
>>8640790
Don't have to. I already watched a cartoon about them and that's pretty much the equivalence of information Alex Jones would give on the subject anyways....
Why is it some crop circles come back the year after they're made? like a shadowy after image.
Why do some crop circles have stalks that are broken n snapped in half, while others bend at 90degree angle as if they're growing sideways?
>>8640762
I really start to believe that crop circles are amplified electron paths in an atom/element/molecule
I Imagine when a powerful event somewhere in space unleashes rays into it's surrounding, just like light, the electromagnetic waves emitted by said event will get affected by black holes. If the conditions are just right, the rays of said event will distorted in such a uniform way, they will be re-scaled. The rescaling process gives the rays different properties (just like if you would lower the frequency of UV light you'd begin to see it).
Finally when they hit the earth, are big and weak enough to only have a regional effect.
It's really easy to spot man-made crop circles tho. If this is really the work of normal human technology then they are skilled artists with perfect technique.
I'm also curious about the ARECIBO message, pic related.

how a typical /a/ poster responds to any subject
When I was in grad school, I found a book at the library on crop circles. The book said there are "real" crop circles (don't know how they form) and "fake" crop circles (humans made them).
A major difference was that with the real circle, the nodes of the plants seemed to have undergone rapid growth and expansion and the plant "tipped" over. Given enough time, the plant would grow upright and the circle would disappear.
With the fake circles, the crops would be broken and eventually die.
Probably bullshit but that's what the book said. It even had pictures of expanded nodes.
This is the coolest one in my opinion.
The disc is code in the same format as a CD. It says:
"Beware the bearers of false gifts and their broken promises.
Much pain, but still time. Believe there is good out there.
We oppose deception. Conduit closing."

>Why is it some crop circles come back the year after they're made?
Because new plants look different from old plants, moron.
>Why do some crop circles have stalks that are broken n snapped in half, while others bend at 90degree angle as if they're growing sideways?
Because the rednecks who make these either cut the crops or use a board to push them over. Idiot.

shut the fuck up you pompous retard

Bored farmers with an artistic streak looking to be expressed.
>>8640762
>Is there a purpose behind them?
It's just a prank bro!
Dudes, awesome!
Is there more picture of deciphered circles?
I am pleased to hear, that there is binary,, theres ASCII, and theres mores code hidden in the crops.
But, How do we go about finding paths in the geometry circles ?
>>8640934
what does that crop circle say?
>>8640790
Plz be b8...
>>8640946
I watched a documentary along time ago that gave similar information.
They have caught farmers making a lot of these for fun and for the publicity.
However, some of the more plain ones were caused by swirling air patterns.
>>8640934
I turned this pic into audio and it sounds freaky af
How about this one? What does it represent?
>>8640762
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nfKArCWpKWE
Literally interviewed the two guys who make crop circles.
They are just fun things for semi-creative artist/pranksters to do.

It's the Arecibo Message, made by humans.
>>8641731
its a responsed on a message we sent out to soace as an experiment, google images: arecibo message, will explain
>>8642077
no the pic is not what we sent, its slightly different and that is the mystery
>>8642081
Hm, maybe I should've looked more closely.
Original message sent via radio
>>8642427
>sending your shitty pixel art to ayyliens
I want indie devs to leave.
>>8642427
reply, received as crop message just a few yards from where original message was sent from
I just realised there was no X-Files episode on crop circles, wow.
>>8642434
it was designed by Carl Sagan
>>8642435
notice the bottom part of the message. It appeared as a more detailed crop circle formation in a field next to the Chilbolton telescope
>>8640949
It is fun to imagine for a moment if this was genuine.
down with deception
>>8642435
That message was sent from Arecibo, Puerto Rico. There are no agricultural fields "yards away" from the telescope
>>8640762
Someone is obviously trolling.
>>8642509
Sorry. you're correct. It appeared near the Chilbolton telescope.
>>8642575

>>implied nitrogen atoms

whatever aliens did this deserve to be PURGED for there awful representation of molecules
>>8640955
This.
>>8640762
Really? Not one person has posted
>>/x/
yet?
I am disappoint.
Wow /sci/ doesn't think aliens are real? Seems like you guys are a bunch of retards.
I've seen legit crops in my countryside, they weren't pretty and complex shaped like the ones posted here, just circles of discolored/ weirdly burned grass. They were located in a forest near the village and definitely no human made them.
one day I'll be rich enough to buy 100 acres and troll Alex Jones with dank crop designs
>>8642061
>this could be the rodin coil
>6 branches might mean that vortex math shit
>it sort of looks like a 2 dimension torus.
>just reland your eyes
>>8640955
What are harvests.
Maybe not hoooman made.
But what is the purpose?
I think, the real ones, not human made, are holding parts of the same story.
What is the science behind this, and what can I/we learn from it?
