How can Hubble's Law hold without the universe having a center?

because one day the lights just flicked on
Every time the hubble sphere expands (and it does so at a rate of one light-second per second) you get to watch the first flicker of light from a region of the universe

Hubble's law is fine, but people misrepresent it. It's erroneous in general relativity to talk about center or the relation between velocities of distant objects--in reality, it's nonsense. It's only meaningful locally. Note that in GR, do to something wonderful called the equivalent principle, we can always find a locally free-falling frame (that essentially doesn't know about gravity). This technical detail ends up being very important, as it uniquely defines a reference center for points in the surrounding neighborhood to transport from.
imagine the universe is the 3D equivalent of the surface of a balloon. The center of mass of the balloon is the center of the universe.

How can a surface without volume have center of mass?

You have stumbled upon the previous Anon's point

Law, rule. Same thing.
A rule always works, without exception. No one has this; only the ego to believe as opposed to the mind to think.
- Does the 3d Cartesian plane extend beyond the limits of the "theoretical" universal? As a concept?
- Do the points in this plane (that represent a place in space) exist?
- Are these points 0x0x0 units? Are they solid? Spheres, cubes or pyramids?
- Do these points touch such that the distance between them is 0 units?
If so, how does an infinite number of points with an infinite number of 0 unit spacing between them ever equal "1 unit?"
- Does an infinite number of these points make up all things? A porous rock? A porous atom? A porous photon?
- When does energy become matter?
None of this shit works out sanely because we're working with models and impractical concepts of Reality rather than living in Reality.

There is a center to the observable universe, and it's right here on Earth.
>>8628632
Would that be your ego?

Inshallah, brother.
