"Applied Chaos Theory" - Cambel
"Nonlinear Dynamics and Chaos" - Strogatz
these fields are woefully immature in form, you won't find much useful that isn't related to stuff like control theory or statistics

I've read Chaos by James Gleick - a bit pop-sci but it really spoke to me. I also have a small Chaos book from the Oxford Uni Press, but that's a bit dry and inaccessible, I think. But it's probably more on the level of most people on this board.
