is botany a good major
Botany isn't a good bachelor's degree. Get environmental BS then a botany or plant science MS.

thanks also i want to try for a masters degree
Go for biology then specialize in genetics. You'll make tons of cash
if you're good at art, you could be a scientific illustrator.

We were all awful at math once, then we worked hard to become less so.
Don't be lazy OP.

Here are 415 degrees that you could pursue:

If you see physics, chemistry, math, econ, quant, or programming/computer/web, then ignore those. Everything else should be worth checking out.
I am not sure what you want to optimize for.
Conservationists, ecologists, geologists, etc. make okay money and get to hike around all day.
Doctors, dentists, optometrists, and pharmacists make great money but only after they have spent 8 years studying and lots of money on tuition.
Molecular and cellular biologists, virologists, microbiologists, etc. make okay money but stay inside most of the day.
Zoologist probably doesn't make very much money but it looks fun.
