Why are meteors destroyed when approaching earth but not rockets?
Because rockets don't have enough velocity, i guess
>>8613750
I mean, they probably use aerobreaking to slow down their velocity
>>8613752
I did that once in ksp on the venus equivalent and it didn't work as the diagram shows.
I think the whole space thing is a hoax.
>>8613765
I'm glad you find yourself funny
Is this a joke?
Please show an example in history where a rocket has approached earth from orbit.
>>8613785
rockets or spacecrafts, the same
>>8613792
>spacecrafts
Which are specifically designed to handle entering the atmosphere at 30000 km/h.
Do you think meteors are specifically designed enter the atmosphere at 30000 km/h?
>>8613795
maybe.
Also maybe they don't enter the atmosphere at 30.000km/h but more at 90.000.
>>8613747
Because we've never been to space thats why
>>8613805
very very low quality bait
>>8613747
heat shields, and they still get toasty
>>8613983
They don't always work, either.
>>8613765
it does work if you dont fly too low
>>8613997
you need to fly low to reach the upper atmosphere so it can lower your speed
>>8614012
I mean dont fly too low inside the atmosphere
>>8613997
>HE DIDNT FLY SO GOOD
>>8613747
Rocket stages sometimes do burn up on re-entry. It depends on how high up they are and how they're built.
The space shuttle of course has heat tiles and has to re-enter at a specific angle or it will burn up.
