>Buying into uploading consciousness meme
Listen to me:
There will never be robots as sophisticated as humans.
AI will not advance beyond the stage it is now.
Computer power will soon become stagnant.
We will never colonize another planet.
Immortality is a lie no one will ever reach 200 and 70-80 will forever stay the average age of humans.
Social media will continue to divide social interactions.
You will die old and alone just everyone else.

They already have them. I think they are called Mind Clones. They named one Bina.
A super rich lady that has helped make breakthroughs in a variety of sciences is bank rolling the endeavor. She is trying to find a way for rich Baby Boomers to leave a legacy behind.
But it's more like uploading memes of yourself into the bot. Like the sci-fy show, Caprica.
By the way, you posted another bot that I am a fan of. The guy who made it is super cool and super smart, but I don't think it paid off for him. After he spent a lot of time building it, he got a med degree and is working in Vietnam. I hope he continues his work. I think it's inspirational for advanced hobbyists or people with a passion.
