How do I measure mach angle on a humanoid sized object? From

How do I measure mach angle on a humanoid sized object? From the center (the waist) or from the edges of the object (head & feet)?

Also, how do I use mach angle to determine the objects mach number?

This is not homework btw.

ok I actually found a resource for finding the mach number via mach angle.

Now I just need to know how to properly measure mach angle on an rectangular object.
