I suck balls at physics and can't seem to keep shit straight when I'm going through problems. Anyone know of a good textbook that can help me understand concepts and how to apply them well?
I have this indian teacher that I can barely understand and she's always making grammatical errors in explaining shit that makes the subject confusing as fuck.
List textbooks or things that helped you understand/master the subject. Currently in second term after failing first(retaking during summer), so can't fail or do anything below a B this term.
Help me /sci/ you are my only hope.
webm unrelated, but figured I'd put something pleasant to keep the mood positive.
tf is the subject?
mechanics?
optics?
solid-state?
quantum?

General physics. We are currently studying Coulombs law, and I think magnetism is next. Mechanics would be helpful and same with optics and thermodynamics.
Nothing above 200 level or second year physics. I'm not sure how it works in other colleges.

Check the recorded lectures of Walter Lewin. Here's the Youtube channel:

I watched those, did a lot of exercises from Young & Freedman University Physics (others will recommend better books for you) and got good grades.
I'm loving all the resources so keep dumping you handsome smart 140+ IQ bastards.
There is no "magical" textbook. The magic happens when you actually sit down and fo the problems. Cannot do the problem? Re-read the chapter. Do simpler problem. Google explanations. Stop looking for the perfect resource. There's no such thing. There's only effort.

Editions are identical beside different problems at the end of the chapter. Get edition n-2 or n-3 and save money.
