Shilov is indeed bad but Principles of Mathematical Analysis is a good book.
It's rigorous and concise thus:
1. No misunderstandings because rigorous.
2. Not boring because concise.
3. Basically an exercise book if you like proving statement and filling small gaps.
Ahlfors, how so? I've heard it's a good book.
