if no: this is quite common practice for mental health problems. throw stuff at it and keep you happy until you heal yourself automatically, a.k.a., until you're trained to emit the right amount of hormone again. just tell her you're not comfortable taking pills, they normally respond quite positively to that.

If I have sleeping problems then I can just google "sleeping problems" to have someone tell me "kek rest more faggot" instead of paying a doctor to tell me the same thing.

This must be it. Doctors probably don't expect you to come to them for shitty advice, specially with topics so trivial. It is fair for a doctor to assume that you are just coming to get a prescription.

Do you expect them to send you to a psychologist. They don't respect those people. Psychologists are witch doctors with PhDs.

The only realistic cure for anything is a change of lifestyle or drugs. You come to health advisors to ask for lifestyle help, so if you go to a Doctor they assume you came there for drugs.

But there really isn't much a med doctor can do if you have sleeping problems (without any other concerning details) or anxiety attacks other than giving you a medicine

A more involved doctor may have done some tests to make sure you don't have some obscure weird shit going on, but it wouldn't matter that much tbqh m8

More often than not they'll refer you to a specialist than just give you sleeping pills/ antidepressants willy nilly.
