Which /sci/ence will actually get me a Job?
Definitely not physics.
None, if you are just in it for a job. If you don't have interest in it from the start, you're not going to make it.

Engineering or anything technical

No, wrong.
You shouldn't be able to post in this thread unless you already graduated and have a job. Please go to one of the kiddie boards like /v/.

Oh, definitely Physics. We are hiring but physicists are a bit elusive these days.
A PhD improves job prospects and a PhD in experimental physics such as solid state physics is perhaps the safest way.

So basically Materials Science?

I'm interested in doing either nuclear or plasma physics.
I'm just not sure if the job outlook is good in either of those fields.
Polymer Science

Shillbot programming, until january 20th.
After that, anything but pure math.

>experimental physics
>not theoretical
Kys.

It's like he wants a job or a research position after he's done, what an idiot.
But seriously theoretical and experimental doesn't differ until 2nd year where experimentalists take advanced labs and learn skills like programming, circuit design, experiment design whilst theorists take 1/2 extra math classes.

Experimental or theoretical? If you pick nuclear just do nuclear engineering, Plasma physics idk enough about

XX was the century of physics.
XXI is the century of Biology : Genetics, ecology, health, exobiology, cybernetics (interface biology-electronic)
I currently research oceanography at a local lab (specifically physical), but am not sure whether I should declare oceanography/marine science as my major, are there actual jobs in this anywhere or is it just a meme, as I enjoy studying it.
Statistics
I didn't know what to do in college, I had to pick something so I did biochemistry. Anyways I just went NEET for like 2 years since then, didn't even try to use it. How do I find a job now? What do I do with this degree now? Did I fuck up for life? I don't even know where to start. I had a 3.5 GPA but no internships/research/extracurriculars.
Bio/Chem/Engineering for guaranteed jobs. Hell anything with practical lab/computer lab experience will guarantee you a 40k+/year job

You're fucked m8. Applied and not educational jobs are all about soft and hard job skills.
