I don't think we'll be able to understand antimatter until we can understand and control gravity. Then we can send a probe out to space to catch some antimatter and bring it back to earth and study it's effects with gravitrons.

That would be neat. Especially if dark matter functions the same as regular matter, if most of the universe is made up of dark matter doesn't that mean if life exists most life would be made up of dark matter and that we are alone is actually consistent with the makeup of our universe.
