Is that would be possible that two or more intelligent races evolve in the same planet?

If they acted like humans, then they would probably end up destroying eachother.

like dolphins and humans ?
>inb4 dolphins are not intelligent
they have electrosensors bitch
If two intelligent species evolved simultaneously and inhabited the same regions of the planet, there would probably be tough competition for resources, and one would end up losing.
It's likely that this happened on Earth. There was interbreeding between the Homo species though, so it's probably more complicated.

Humans
Dogs
Dolphins
Yes, I'd say the chances look good.

>Is that would be possible
yes, it is that would be possible
the intra-terrestrials survived the many cataclysms that sent the surface dwellers back to field one.

Judging by what happened on Earth, no. There'd need to be a division line on the planet. Like two continents that never bridged enough to allow animals from one place go to another. Then it could occur.
It depends if they will compete. Think about a minion race of sorts, kinda like our pets, but smarter and without the agression.
If there were a LOT of them (and not just two), it's feasible that each race would be in grid-lock with one another, and you'd have a situation not entirely unlike the Balkan states.
