Calculator thread
>using a calculator
lmao brainlets
>useless casio calculator
why even brag about it, at all?
it's like bragging about a tiny dick
this and a refreshed mind which has comprehended and completly understood the material is all you really need.
whenever i see someone with an expensive calculator, a few things go through my mind
1) they are not going to try in this class
2) they think the calculator is going to do all the work for them
3) brainlet

honestly my ti 89 has made me lazy af. I dont even do simple derivatives or integrals anymore. I know it might bite me in the ass one day but im too lazy
>>8535712
it's already biting you, if you're anything like me.
>>8535733
i think im gonna go with out it for linear algebra next semester
ti-30x if no graph drawing allowed
input uses pretty print, less of a hassle with parentheses
>>8535763
in US, ti-36x
scilab
Ti-nspire. Fug its nice, wish i had the CAS version though
Hp50g is my waifu
Haven't learned how to use it super well but I like using it for simple calculations.
Question for Hp50g fags
Say I have an equation I have to reenter a few times with a few different values. What is the best way to do this?

"in case you get so excited opening it, there's a risk of fluid being splashed"
The only calculator one can trust.
>>8536701
btw, you can also save the equation on a variable, and use it to fill the equation field again, if you have to do this with several different equations.

MY MAN I USE THAT HP EVERY DAY
I DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW TO DO MATRICIES ON IT BUT IT CAN GRAPH 3D SLOW AS SHIT LIKE A FUCKING CHAMP
>>8534027
I got some orange juice around the . button of my stupid ti-82, how do I fix it, it keeps getting suck
>>8536583
That shit looks expensive as hell. Does it link up to an Indian guy who will do your problems for you?
>>8536712
right-shift (green arrow) matrix ('Enter' key) takes you to the matrix writer
then you just punch numbers and hit enter, or separate them by spaces to fill rows. Press the down key to go to the next row.
and yeah 3D rendering is fucking slow, as well as some computations.
>>8536741
dump it into water
works 90% of the time
>>8536741
Take it apart and clean the case and buttons
>>8536583
>muh dick
Casino 991 for adding shit together and a thinkpad with fedora for anything else. Buying expensive calculators is retarded.
>>8534027
I used this calculator for my class right now.
It automatically turns shit into pi/whatever or reduces sqroot to its smallest form. Never gives me back floating point answers. Everyone else in the class freaking out memorizing shit because their calculators all give back floating point answers. my casio just skips over all that shit.
