Take a page of your notes from a class that has a lot of math. Attempt to type it out in latex, literally Google everything you can't figure out. There you go. You know latex. Use sharelatex or some other online version of it so you don't have to download anything

i got a q, how do i see the text in latex? it just looks exactly as it was typed to me

Look up a quick guide that gives you enough info to write a basic report. For anything more specific you want to do just google it and there will probably be a wiki page or a stackexchange post about it.

But seriously this is solid advice for learning pretty much anything; it isn't limited to LaTeX

I asked this in a previous thread but didn't get a response.

SO let's say I need to restate a question to preface a section. What would be the best formatting to do this? I ended up just making it the first line and calling it a day, but I'd like to know in the future.

I love shit though. I was frankly fed up with using drive and word for long equations. The only thing LaTeX gives me trouble with is pictures.
