We actually don't know enough about intelligence to determine if it can be positively changed or not.

We do know that geniuses have better concentration abilities than everyone else though.

Intelligence is not a skill.
You can train intelligence, and you can apply knowledge to make yourself more intelligent but you can't learn intelligence for the same reason you can't train math or chemistry.

It can be learned and trained...
