Overwatch is all I have time for rn. My favorite multiplayer game in recent memory.

Confession time: I booted up Minecraft a few months back and started a world. I got it back in the alpha days and stopped playing sometime early in the beta. It's a totally different game now, my god. Not quite as comfy as I remembered it in the alpha when it was a crude building blocks game with le ebic zombies. But I'll be damned if it's not fun to build on there still. Didn't last long though, shut it off after a few hours.

I downloaded some Minecraft CPUs and calculators back in the day. The autism employed in creating those things is staggering.

They are getting increasingly sophisticated. Pretty soon we'll have one complex enough to play Minecraft, inside Minecraft (granted, at about 1 frame per year.)

Most complicated thing I ever made was a TNT dropping bomber for use on a faction server. Sadly, it didn't work as well in multiplayer, lag kinda screwed up piston and train based devices. There's apparently mods that make that sorta thing work though.

Aurora. It's a 4x game (think Civilization) about making a space empire. I've heard it called "Dwarf Fortress in space" though I think it's easier to play than DF. Might be different for you.

Gotta second The Witness, I finished my second playthrough recently, visually stimulating as hell. Lush colors and fantastic modelling, you see so many areas that have that little extra bit of love. I like it when a game gives me the warm fuzzies.

I don't find a lot of games coming out fun. The overall quality of the video game industry, at least as it appeals to me, is seriously tanking within the last few years. Seems barely any effort is put into the technical side of new games too, especially if you play on PC, so even good games are held down by being glitchy (or even obviously unfinished) and poorly optimized trash.
