Fucking layman man.
>there are people on /sci/ who use superscript and subscript
fucking children
j is used only in EE.
Are you retard OP?
>>8510809
>he doesn't realize what OP was implying
mayhaps you are the retard

a+ib form for sum operation
Eulero form for the other stuff

There's no advantage of a+bi over (a,b) regarding addition
>he calls them "imaginary" numbers instead of "lateral" numbers
fucking tards propagating the notion that the numbers are somehow more or less "imaginary" than the reals
>>8511244
Why do you even need to talk about imaginary numbers, and not just complex numbers? There's hardly any situation when you need only complex numbers with zero real part.
Also, there's nothing wrong about brainlets thinking imaginary numbers are less real than reals, because they'll never use them outside the school, and the name makes no difference for people who will actually use them.
EE's are the meme engineers
I mean these people legitimately believe in TLT

He doesn't use [math]r1, x\hat\imath, y\hat\jmath, z\hat k[/math]

in EE its written as a+jb
