I published 4 papers this year and still feel like a failure.

working on my next one which is even worse, and my co-author is really excited about it lmao i don't even want to submit it anywhere desu i just want to kill myself

this thread gies me the impression that this research thing is very depressing

If yes, the last two years were a catastrophic failure. I completed 0 of my projects, only did shit repairs and manual adjustments.

I don't fucking know how I've not been fired yet, even less how I've received a raise.
