interested in how the discourse on this board has changed over the last couple of month. i notice here, and also other boards, that the language is becoming more condensed, the tone becoming less varied and the questions becoming more antagonistic.
are there any boards that are not currently wallowing in linguistic or ideological 'poverte'?
sub question - what household items can i use to measure available light, is there a manual way to do this without using digital/photographic equipment?

4chan seems to be increasingly full of shitters who don't care about actual discussion, and are just here to spout memes and pick fights.

Why are you trying to measure light? You could do something with a photodiode, if you have something to read it with.
just curious in the amount of light that enters a particular room in my house, and was trying to find a way to measure it without buying a piece of equipment, which admittedly sounds stupid.
as for the discourse, it seems to me that its not just that people want to post memes and talk shit, but that they are doing it in an increasingly regimented and conforming way. it hardly seems like there are people on the other side of the screen anymore.
it's as if we are approaching 'sims' level AI
