Who here /StudyingAnatomy/?
only you're mother's
I already failed my first exam, and I am only studying head and neck.
Me, I'm so far working on the bones and getting into Grey's while at the same time trying to pinpoint what the book is talking about by researching online.

I study it by myself. Does it count?

This, me too.
After trying to figure out lymphatic drainage for myself I got somewhat interested in anatomy.
I still find it very disturbing when there's skin present though. Especially those head cutaways with half the face still on. Jesus.

Is it true that there's no lymphoid glans in the brain so it's washed with cordiac liquid instead and only when we sleep? I heard that our brain cells kind of shrink when we're sleeping so the flow can drain all the garbage from the inbetween. Is it true/false I really don't know. prove/disprove please.

Very recently -like literally June 2015- they discovered that the lymphatic system extends into the brain.
It seems like there aren't nodes in the brain, but there are certainly lymphatic channels.
I don't know if the mechanisms you described are true or not, I'm more focused on the macroscopic level.

is it really studying when all you are doing is trying to retain a grocery list of information?

That's the way they give it in university. That's why you have to say fuck school and study by yourself.
