Assuming we are in fact living in a simulated universe, what would be a best way to prove to the alien creators / observers that we're worth elevating from the simulation into the real world? I think we'll need to invent something useful they haven't already thought of.
> elevating from the simulation into the real world
That might not be possible. For all we know the universe simulating ours is two dimensional.

>elevating
You have a very primitive view of everything, don't you.

thats like saying bring a computer game character in your ps4 into reality. i dont understand. youll have to explain how that would work

Keep doing what we're doing, attempting to accomplish whatever challenges we see around us (mars would be a good step).

I would consider them having more dimensions likely, just to cut down on the processing requirements.

If we had a self aware computer program (itself the biggest shortfall in our abilities for your simile) then it would presumably not be the hardest thing in the world to place it in an artificial body, presuming it could be made with as much processing power as said program required. I think that would count.

Why would we even want that?
It'd be like thawing out and reviving a perfectly preserved frozen neanderthal and letting him live here in modern times. We'd all be confused and miserable and do nothing but cause problems for everyone

No point, we're probably in some classroom closet that nobody opens anymore because it's full of jars with grade school level of universes.
