What are your thoughts on bottled water? My class is currently seeing if anyone can distinguish between them, singled blinded.

Dumbshit, and probably more tasteless than "normal" water.
Only useful if you don't have a source of clean water. And/or you're some yuppie sucker who tries too hard

Bottled water is still better than any other junk bottled beverage if you must buy a drink.
>take bottled water
>pour into a glass
>it's no longer bottled water, but still tastes same
>experiment confirmed, j/k
There's a distinct difference between city/tap and well water. I have well water and when I'm in a city the water literally stings my nose and tastes like I'm drinking from a pool. After living in the city for a while I noticed I became acclimated and could no longer tell the difference between city and well water.

Also, after moving back home where I have well water I can now tell the difference again and what's more, I can tell the difference between spring water and my well water. My well water has a metallic taste, lots of iron. Bottled spring water can sometimes have an ozone smell/taste to it but it varies from bottle to bottle. Sometimes it's a distance smell/taste and other times it's not noticeable.
One person got 8/8, no one else.

but then you're paying for water

You're paying for water with crap thrown in no matter what drink you buy. If you want to drink sugar you're better off buying sugar and pouring it into a bottle of water.
