Bezos pissed Trump off royally, by using media assets against him in an underhanded way. I'm sure he's not a huge fan of Musk either, but Trump likes domestic manufacture, clean air, and a cost-efficient, inspiring space program, so I think Musk is going to do very well under Trump.

I'm expecting the Trump government will cut the overall NASA budget but provide major funding for ITS development, as the replacement for SLS/Orion, and plan for a big LEO station as well as moon and Mars bases, taking advantage of the gains in cost-effectiveness.
