I am looking for the reaction equation of sunlight bleaching colours in textiles.
Pic not related.
[math]Coloured \; textile \begin{matrix} h \cdot \nu \\ \rightarrow \end{matrix} Bleached \; textile[/math]
>>8463517
how long does sunlight bleaching take?
>>8463618
Depends on the amout of oxygen. It's faster when the textiles are wet.
>>8463718
If it takes hours or more, it probably involves a fuckload of subreactions
>>8463723
As far as I know it's mostly the free oxygen radicals breaking up the unsatuated fats in the coulouring. The sun somehow speeds this up. So basically it should be an oxydisation.
Why is that man transporting a cello in that way? Is that a double-bass?
Please, google gives me nothing, someone must know this
