It should be as it seems we have 3 equasions and 3 unknown variables.

its easy stop be lazy
>It should be as it seems
It is. So go do it
>>8453001
I just cant grasp it.
This is all I have so far.
Just give me a hint please.
no way to find L
Your ones are an abomination

I can't make heads or tails of that diagram, is u a (in)dependent source, voltage/current regualator/ variable impedance, wtf is the independent AC source?
>>8452991
This is a little confusing for me. I assume it's AC circuit? What is the value of u in the mid branch?
In any case you should be able to solve it by using Kirchhoff laws. Write out the equations and plug in substitutions where you need them. Get one result and find the other.
If you end up with 3 equations and 3 unknowns you probably forgot some rule that can help you find or replace the third unknown. If not then solve it via matrix.

If the non-u source is defined, source transformation could be applied to have a single branch circuit with effectively 1 node or 1 mesh current. On the contrary, if the AC independent source is undefined then he cannot proceed because the phase shift, voltage drops/currents would be wrong

Yeah, I agree with you. I went to check in some of my books for examples. A lot of examples are set like this but all are either without the middle branch or have L not be unknown.

Is *what* solveable?
What are you given, what are you trying to find?
