Read the textbook material.

Read it again.

Take your own notes from the reading - don't just rely on in-class notes

Re-draw any diagrams or chemical reactions shown in the book.

Watch Khan Academy Youtube vids on the topic.

Lots of resources. No excuses.

since you're a high schooler I imagine your standard of study is "look at it for an hour and if I don't have it memorized by then it's really really hard"

Just keep reading and practicing it over and doing diagrams and eventually you'll memorize it all - even if you don't even understand what it means.
>>
>>8450129
The (((practice books))) are quite helpful. Go to a Half Price Books and see if you can pick up a cheap copy. I got a 5 on my test only because I flipped through one the morning of.
>>
>>8450129
lots of memorization my tip will be since yo are in high school dont go way to much into the detail youll have to take biochem anyway and try to understand the reasoning behind each step.
cheers
>>
Read the book and draw the reactions. Shit is easy as fuck.
>>
If you go to https://secure-media.collegeboard.org/digitalServices/pdf/ap/ap-biology-course-and-exam-description.pdf, it tells you exactly what you need to know. It also says that "specific steps, names of enzymes and intermediates of the pathways for these processes are beyond the scope of the course and the AP exam". Don't get too deep into it.
>>
>>8450129
I once mainlined 500μg of acetyl CoA, if that helps.
>>
>>8450129
you can literally learn it in one day if you try

>>
>>8450563
no you can't lol.
>>
>>8450165
the entire class requires 0 teaching. It's just hand outs and tests. Teachers are only there for giving lectures, answering questions and grading. Stop being trash and get gud.
